Our AirPN10 is an ultrafine particle monitor designed to measure the concentration of hazardous nanoparticles in ambient air. It enables users to assess ambient air pollution by nanoparticles, which the WHO considers to have serious effects on human health and the environment. The combination of an Advanced Diffusion Charger with our Aerosol Switching Technology makes the AirPN10 the only instrument that can measure solid and total particle number concentrations and size information of particles down to 10 nanometers in a range of 1,000 to 500,000 particles per cubic centimeter almost simultaneously. The AirPN10 was designed as a lightweight and easy-to-use device for long-term use. It thus offers a unique solution for monitoring the immission of ultrafine particles and source attribution in emission hotspots.

Comparing measurements from different particle sources or sampling methods has always been a challenge in aerosol research. nanoDUST’s unique, innovative aerosol switching technology used in the nanoDUST AirPN10 can also be used as a stand-alone device in calibration and research laboratories to provide a reliable, repeatable and automated comparison of two sample inputs to a particle sizer. Our straight-through particle aerosol switch selects the sampling path with minimal bias and internal particle losses, enabling an accurate aerosol calibration process with the highest level of automation. The commands can be sent via an open protocol through a serial interface. All aerosol switches supplied are characterized in our particle laboratory and provided with a calibration protocol. Two versions of the aerosol switch are available for flow rates of up to 1lpm and up to 5lpm. Special designs with multiple cascaded inputs or OEM aerosol switches can also be supplied on request.
